Steve Cardenas is an American martial artist and actor best known for playing Rocky DeSantos, the second Red Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and the Blue Zeo Ranger in Power Rangers Zeo. He joined the show in 1994 with no prior acting experience and appeared in multiple seasons and films, including Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (1995). He later returned for anniversary specials, including Netflix’s Once & Always (2023).

Cardenas holds a 5th-degree black belt in Taekwondo and 3rd-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He runs martial arts studios in California and Texas and has won several national-level BJJ competitions.
